We had a great challenge at the development of Casa na Árvore’s website. They used their previous website for a really long time, and it was left untouched by a really long time as well. Besides, Casa na Árvore does a lot of work, has some market niches it wants to conquer, and should have all of its work perfectly visible for anyone who enters the website. On top of that, we should establish a new identity which represented the progress Casa had during the last years as a video production agency that works all over the country. We opted for some solutions that were decisive for us to build the website. The first one of those was to use sideways scrolling, so that every page could be loaded simultaneously. Next, we proposed an interface where everything could be presented macro, so that information could be very clear. The rest of the design was adapted to it. We chose minimalist elements, basically typography and color. There was some promotion, with banners on some niche websites, so that Casa’s new site would be known. To sum it all up, we presented some customer relationship marketing proposals (t-shirts, bags, keychains, birthday cards and some other stuff). Check it out on http://www.casanaarvore.com.br/

Unochapecó is a university in the southern state of Santa Catarina and it was in need of a new face to present to its students. The institution grew a lot and attracted young people from all around Brazil. Its corporate speech was not working with these people. So, we proposed this: create a line of t-shirts and other products that would look cool among this public, and at the same time worked as something that identified Unochapecó. We wanted a student to wear the T-shirt of his chosen profession and wear it proudly, because it was a cool t-shirt. So we developed 40 prints, one for each career course, plus 5 other T-shirts that should represent the university as a whole. The result was so nice that Unochapecó adopted the prints for a lot of stuff, like billboards, notebooks, flash drives, cards and other endomarketing purposes. The slogan of the label is “your career, your style”, so that it represents the young student establishing his/her personality inside the transformative environment that a university is.

A new edition for the Unochapecó designer label. This time we created eight prints, each one dealing with one area of knowledge. Unochapecó uses ‘change’ as its main concept. The word ‘change’ is on every illustration and all the images carry along the universe of transformations a student goes through when he joins the university.

Raffe is a project by Chapecó illustrators. They got along on the internet through a website todo something that could be beyond the agitated day-to-day work of the advertising agencies they worked for. Two of them are part of Estúdio Alice now (Eder Minetto and Rogério Puhl). These illustrations was developed for the last version of the website. They are caricatures of the illustrators, so they deal with some characteristics each one has.
Work + Fun:
Alice mixes references. It’s good and evil. Right and wrong. Coke and Menthos, Yin and Yang. Monty Python and The Godfather. Alice is pragmatic in what it does, and creative in what it finishes. It’s like an avatar for four people. Different creatures that are united by some things they all like, but who make an effort to grow based on their different tastes. Everyday they unite for something cooler than merely working. They have different assignments in what they call a studio. Is it work!? Yes, but it has to be fun. If it’s not fun, then it’s not worth it. When Alice was conceived, this was written in the manual. There has to be work – it has to be fun. Alice searches for references. Alice creates conceptually. Gives form in a fun way. Alice likes to discuss possibilities and strategies. Alice knows how to use cool words. Alice likes to draw colorfully. Alice wants to provoke you.
